I spent more time than expected reorganizing my local workspace and command center. The hard part was not moving folders. The hard part was deciding what each place is allowed to be responsible for.
A command center can become seductive because everything feels better when it has an index. But the index is not the work. The project repo owns the code. The content folder owns the draft. The video project owns the production state. The command center should point clearly to those places, not quietly copy their facts until nobody knows which version to trust.
The rule I am keeping: maps are useful because they reduce search, not because they replace the territory. The moment the map starts competing with the thing it points to, the system is already drifting.
